USA People Search is strongest in its criminal background checking service, something which has been the pinnacle of its product for years. With millions of databases indexed, overview and granular details can be instantly analyzed through background reports. Along with criminal background checks, you can also browse public records, perform a people search, a reverse phone lookup and more…

Report Details

To analyze the accuracy and performance of the USA People Search criminal background check, we conducted a test on an individual in the United States. We entered his first name, surname, city and state into the search box on the criminal background page – but it returned no results. We tried entering less information to provide a broader search, but to no avail. We did, however, find a second individual by using their information. We were able to instantly identify them by seeing their address, age and relatives.

Clicking ‘View Details’ we were given a glimpse of the possible information contained within a report on this person. This included details from the DoC, DoPB, Patriot Act Database, Administration of Courts and information on all wants, warrants and sex offenses. Whilst we didn’t purchase a report, we’re confident that the eventual data would tally with the promising first signs of our individual.

Key Features

The website for USAPS is much easier and more straightforward to use than many others in the industry. With a homepage search bar and individual pages per service (criminal, background, reverse phone etc.) it’s very simple to find the product that you want. The searches themselves are almost instantaneous, a refreshing change from the convoluted loading bars and file scanning that other websites fabricate to make them look authoritative.

Criminal Record Report Fees
Trial MembershipN/A
Single Report$39.95

It’s a shame that memberships aren’t offered outside of a 3-month subscription, along with the lack of a trial offer – but this is a very comprehensive service. Try purchasing a single report on somebody that you’re keen to find more about, or try it on yourself to truly judge the accuracy of a search. If the system works for you, $19.95 per month for unlimited searches isn’t so bad after all…

With endless positive third-party reviews and an A+ accreditation from the BBB, you know that USAPS is reliable. When you couple this with the fact that the company has been around for a decade, it’s plain sailing.

Safety & Security

Everything is safe and secure through USAPS. This stretches from the stringent security carried out at the company’s offices, all the way up to the website and the fact that it sits on a private server with full SSL encryption.

Customer Support

Help and support is easily accessible. You can call the toll free phone line or e-mail the company via contact form – or you can browse the online information like articles and FAQ pages. The choice is yours, but all is up to standard.

Bottom Line

USAPS might not be the cheapest provider that you’re going to come across, but it’s definitely one of the most reliable. With unparalleled access to national and federal databases, USAPS generates some of the best comprehensive reports in the industry and you can do much worse than signing up for a subscription here…
